Apple Picking - short a - Make your way around the apple tree by reading short a words. If you land on a golden delicious apple you get to collect a fun foam apple. The player who collects the most apples is the winner.
 Fresh Eggs - short e - Spin the spinner to collect your eggs. Read the short e word on the egg and place it in your egg carton. Whoever fills their egg carton first is the winner.
  Pigpen - short i - Welcome to the farm ! See who can fill up their pigpen with pigs by playing concentration with a fun twist.
 Kite Flying - /k/ - Make your way around the kite by reading /k/ words and identifying their stick vowels. I've added some interesting word cards just to spice it up. Have fun! 
 Fox Hunt - /x/ - Make your way around the game board by reading /x/ words. With luck, players may land on a fox square and get to place the fox in their origami box. Happy fox hunting
 Cookie Jars - /c/ - Spin the spinner to collect your cookies. Read the /c/ word on the back of the cookie and identify the round vowel then slide that cookie into your cookie jar. The player who collects the most cookies is the winner.
 Dog Days - /d/ - Move around the game board by spinning the spinner. After each spin players must trace the embossed /d/ card, say the story and then read the /d/ word that he lands on.The first player to collect a dog, a dish and a bone is the winner.
 Lost Mittens - /m/ - This game uses picture cards. A player will name the picture, which contains the /m/ sound, then identify where he hears that sound. Once successful he draws a mitten from the bag and hopes to collect more pairs than his opponent.
 Fluttering Butterflies - short u - Spin the dual spinners to make short u words. Read your word and if it is a real word you win a butterfly for your garden.
 Frog Pond - short u - Here's a fun way to practice your student's short u reading. It's a concentration type game that provides plenty of opportunity for reading.
